Another great snack that you can make these up and throw in the freeze for the week or even two weeks is protein balls. You can throw pretty much anything into these to make them tasty and what you prefer to eat. Below is the recipe I used for the ones I made in the picture above and they are the perfect sweet treat. I tend to have two of these as a snack, and the recipe makes 16. So that is two weeks of a daily snack made within 20minutes!
- 1.5 cups of almonds
- 1 cup of dates
- 2 tsp of cinnamon
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
- 1 tsp of cacao powder
- Simply throw all of the above ingredients into a food processor or nutribullet
- Divide the mixture into 16, and roll each part into balls
- Either keep in the freezer or fridge and snack away!
